About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Consultant Ophthalmology Surgeon to join our dynamic team in Limerick. The successful candidate will provide expert surgical care, manage a diverse caseload, and contribute to the development of ophthalmic services within the hospital.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform advanced ophthalmic surgeries, including cataract, glaucoma, and retinal procedures.
- Provide expert clinical care and consultations to patients.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes.
- Contribute to training and mentoring of junior staff.
Requirements:
- Fellowship or equivalent in Ophthalmology.
- Full registration with the Irish Medical Council.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
