Guided Antiplatelet Therapy for Stent-Treated Intracranial Aneurysms: A Cluster-Randomized Trial

The study examined the efficacy of guided antiplatelet therapy in patients with stent-treated intracranial aneurysms through a cluster-randomized trial. It compared personalized antiplatelet regimens based on platelet function testing to standard fixed doses. Findings indicated that the guided therapy approach improved outcomes by reducing thromboembolic events. These results support the use of tailored antiplatelet strategies for enhancing the safety and effectiveness of stent treatments in intracranial aneurysms.
