Selfoss Hospital, located in South Iceland, is seeking qualified doctors for short-term assignments during autumn and winter 2024/25
Responsibilities
– On-call duties in the emergency department with mixed caseload
The emergency department at Selfoss Hospital operates 24/7, serving a large area extending from Hellisheiði to Höfn in Hornafjörður.

Wages are determined by collective agreements and range from the equivalent of 500 to 1100 DKK per hour, depending on the time of day, weekday, and qualifications.
Requirements:
– Specialist medical license in emergency medicine, internal medicine, or family medicine from Iceland/a Scandinavian country
– Ability to work independently in a remote setting
– Fluency in English or Icelandic
– Flexibility and adaptability to new situations
Doctors from other specialties than stated above may be considered for the position after individual assesment of qualifications.
