THE PRACTICE and THE TEAM   
This practice is part of an Iwi-led organisation dedicated to improving the wellbeing of our people through health, social services, and education.

The Porirua clinic team includes:

  • 2 permanent GPs (one RNZCGP, one vocationally registered and nearing Fellowship)
  • Extended Care Paramedic
  • Health Improvement Practitioner (HIP)
  • 5 nurses
  • Clinical pharmacist (supporting all our clinics)

You’ll be stepping into a strong, collegial environment with a team that is passionate about equity and impact. GPs here often work across multiple roles, contributing to a rich, varied scope of practice. You’ll see complex presentations and chronic conditions, but also strong relationships and real impact.

 
LOCATION   
Located just 20 minutes north of Wellington City and 30 minutes from Wellington International Airport, Porirua is a culturally diverse city surrounded by natural beauty. The area is home to beautiful harbours, regional parks, walking and biking trails, and a vibrant arts scene.

ABOUT YOU   
You will have current full registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand, or be eligible for registration through MCNZ.
